Application Process

Any new student or transferring student must begin the application process as early as possible. Once you identify the program you want to apply, you must prepare all the required documents. It takes several weeks for transcripts, letter of recommendation and other documents to be prepared. The application process consists of the following steps.

Start Application

Student must submit a completed application form along with non-refundable application fee, I-20 processing fee and required documents. Such includes but is not limited to application form, a letter of recommendation, official transcript, non-refundable application fee, I-20 processing fee, etc.

Admitted

Student must receive a letter of admission along with package for class schedule, housing information and I-20 information. Students must apply for U.S. VISA. And contact the University for airport pickup, housing, and other information for student services.

Arrival

Student must arrive at the airport, receive pickup service, stay in suitable housing or temporary place and enroll and register for classes.

Applying from Outside the U.S.

Step 1

Explore Your Option. Check our website and identify programs that best fits your needs. Complete and submit your application form, application fee, tuition and fee, I-20 processing fee, official transcript, recommendation form and evidence of financial support.

Step 2

Apply for your Student Visa when you receive letter of admission and I-20 from CIS. Prepare for your departure and request housing information from the university. Check on airport pickup. Gather documentation for arrival and immigration compliance.

Step 3

Arrive at CIS and Enroll in the program. Be a part of community by meeting students, staffs, and faculty. Participate in new student orientation and enjoy your life at CIS.

Applying from Inside the U.S.

Step 1

Submit a completed application form along with requirement document such as application form, passport, I-94, current I-20 form, bank statement in USD, utility bill, official transcript and tuition and admission processing fee.

Step 2

Make an appointment and consult our admission officer for obtaining I-20, class schedules, practical training (OPT), field education, change of status, housing information, etc. Obtain letter of admission and a new I-20 form.

Step 3

Arrive at CIS and Enroll in the program. Be a part of community by meeting students, staffs, and faculty. Participate in new student orientation and enjoy your life at CIS.
